CIF : Viewports : Subdirectories : educate/testing
The educate/testing subdirectory is used to develop new content and presentation views for a Viewport web site. Because this directory is at the same level as other subdirectories under the main educate directory relative links can be tested here before moving final versions into the production subdirectories. If the web site hosting a Viewport does not do any customization this directory will normally be empty except for a default index.html file which ships with the standard Viewport configurations.
- The educate/testing subdirectory must contain a file called index.html which gives an overview of what testing views are available to the user. If the web designer does not want to let the user view this information directly this page should simply explain that the testing subdirectory is not public information.
